Caseless Ammunition for mod. VEC 91
The caseless ammunition consists out of a nitrocellulose compound. The cartridge burns in the rifle completely. The ignition charge is a semi conductor that needs a certain current and voltage for ignition. In the picture bellow there is a cut away of the ammunition. The yellow is the actual charge, the white is a booster ignition charge. On the very bottom is the semi conductor consisting out of several layers.
